Many visually impaired people are entitled to some form of benefit, the most usual being Attendance Allowance or Disability Living Allowance. In today’s climate of cost cutting it is becoming even harder to claim the benefit that is right for you. The forms can be a little daunting if you’ve never completed one before. This is where GCAB can help; our trained and experienced staff can advise and complete these forms for you. In some cases we may even refer you to another agency, i.e. Citizens Advice Bureaux, if we think they would be better placed to help you. We cannot emphasise enough how important it is that you get the right help and advice from a reputable source.
So, if you think you may be entitled to a benefit, please give us a call on 01242 22 11 70 and we will do the best we can to advise. And if we can’t help we will know someone who can!
